Conductivitymapping

We subjected our soil to exhaustive electroconductivity analyses at depths of 75cm and 150cm and then prepared over 150 soil pits throughout the vineyard.

From these physical and chemical analyses of our soils, we were able to identify three distinct, well-defined profiles based on morphology: the Paraje Altamira, La Consulta and Eugenio Bustos soil types.

Paraje Altamira

Sandy clay loam soil.
There is calcareous gravel throughout the profile.
Rocks completely covered in calcium carbonate.

Origin and formation:

Fluvial - Alluvial

Slope:

1% - 3%

La Consulta

Sandy loam soil.
Fairly deep.
There are small to medium-sized rocks of different colours, imparted by various types of minerals..

Origin and formation:

Fluvial - Alluvial

Slope:

1% - 3%

Eugenio Bustos

Sandy silt soil. Deep..
No rocks are found until a depth of 160cm..

Origin and formation:

Fluvial - Alluvial
